Physiological serum is an isotonic saline solution, which means that it has a concentration of salts similar to that found naturally in the human body. The isotonic saline solution is mainly composed of water and salt (sodium chloride) in proportions that resemble those that exist in the organism's fluids, such as blood and tears.

Physiological serum is commonly used for medical purposes and is available in sterile presentations. Among its most frequent uses are the cleaning and washing of wounds, the irrigation of the eyes, the dilution of medicines and the hydration in cases of mild dehydration. It is also used in medical and surgical procedures to rinse specific areas of the body.

The physiological serum in 5 mL of Visclean is a sterile isotonic solution of 0.9%sodium chloride.

indicated for infants, children and adults:

- For nasal hygiene: by instillation or washing of the dry or obstructed nose,

- For eye hygiene: by instillation, washing or bathroom,

- For atrial hygiene,

- For wound washing,

- For inhalation in aerosol therapy.

It is presented in 5 ml monodysis container.

Composition: 0.9g sodium chloride, purified water q.s. 100 ml.
