Wedges are essential tools in manual therapy to ensure the effectiveness of the therapy and comfort the patient.
We have 2 wedges of different sizes available: the specific shape and size are used to treat the spine, upper and lower limbs in a segmental and global manner.
The small gray manual therapy wedge is specially designed for
mobilization of extremities and spine. The central groove relieves
pressure on the spinous process, facilitating mobilization through
of the transverse process. The bottom of the wedge is also
can be used as a prepositioning tool for
mobilization.
With extensive training in manual therapy, the use of wedges is easy, fast and very effective. The comfort of the patient and the position and grip of the therapist are essential. It is also important to consider and respect the patient's pain threshold.
