Tiger Balm 19g White
Tiger Balm is an ointment based on herbal ingredients. Although sold as a massage product, Tiger Balm can also be applied in cases of muscle pain and headaches, migraines, coughs and mosquito bites. There are different varieties of the ointment, however, the two best known are its red and white versions. While Red Tiger Balm produces a warming effect, White Tiger Balm is cooling.
Tiger Balm was developed in the 1870s in Rangoon, Burma, by herbalist Aw Chu Kin. After the death of the inventor, his sons Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par perfected the ointment and began to manufacture it industrially. Today, Tiger Balm is manufactured and distributed by the pharmaceutical company Haw Par Healthcare Singapore, which was founded by the Aw brothers
